Elderhostel Programs
Elderhostel, a not-for-profit organization, is the nation's first and the world's largest educational and travel organization.
Together the Black Hills Educational Institute and Elderhostel create fun and educational programs utilizing the areas diverse natural beauty, historic culture, and majestic mountain carvings.
Road Scholar Programs
Road Scholar is a not-for-profit educational organization providing active programs for inquisitive Baby Boomers who prefer learning through experience. Programs feature local experts, opportunities to meet local people, insights into local cultures, and some unscheduled time for independent exploration. Road Scholar programs provide access to resident professionals and unexpected places that are often off limits to commercial tour companies and individual tourists. The maximum group size is 24 participants.
