These magnificent parks were combined in 1932, creating the world's first International Peace Park. Immerse yourself in the history of Waterton Glacier International Peace Park through its historic lodges, amazing geological features and diverse flora and fauna. Daily field trips provide an in-depth, in-person discovery of the natural forces that have made this area so magnificent. Journey along the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road, and explore mountainous peaks where nature comes alive.

Many Glaciers Lodge

Many Glacier Hotel is located along the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake inside Glacier National Park. The great northern railroad built this historic hotel in 1915 to accommodate the many tourists passing through Glacier National Park. Many Glacier Hotel is built in the Swiss Chalet style and the Swiss theme is carried through the interior of the hotel as well.

Prince of Wales Hotel

The Prince of Wales Hotel is located in Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada, overlooking Upper Waterton Lake, near the Canada-United States border. Constructed between 1926–1927, the hotel was built by the American Great Northern Railway to lure American tourists during the prohibition-era north of the border.
